National Canadian Film Day

National Canadian Film Day is on Wednesday, April 20! 

We'll be celebrating having 2 screenings of 3 Canadian short films from 12 - 1 and 1-2 pm at our Downtown location:

Momentum (20 minutes)
A sweeping, moving tribute to Canada's stunning geography and rich cultural heritage. 

The Railrodder (25 minutes)
This short film from director Gerald Potterton (Heavy Metal) stars Buster Keaton in one of the last films of his long career. As "the railrodder", Keaton crosses Canada from east to west on a railway track speeder.

The Beaver People (13 minutes)
A short silent film about famous conservationist Grey Owl, and his wife, Anahareo, who had a special talent for interacting with beavers.
